We’ve seen a rise in fraudulent Michael Jordan autographed cards appearing on eBay recently. Many of the cards are originating outside of the U.S. but we are seeing many from the U.S. and Canada coming up too now. Sadly, once people get duped into buying one, instead of filing a report or simply destroying the fake, they try and sell it to someone else. COME ON PEOPLE!
See below. There are two dead giveaways on these autographs (other than the fact that Jordan just doesn’t sign multiples away from UDA).
1. The bottom of the “M” is too long.
2. The “o” in Jordan is too big (about twice the size of Jordan’s actual signature).
If you bought one of these cards (or others like them) please contact eBay and file a report. It’s the only way we’re going to get rid of these from the market for good.
